Your mental health matters. Let’s take the next step.
Mental Health 417 is a comprehensive resource hub created by the Healthy Living Alliance of the Ozarks. We’re here to connect people in Springfield and Greene County with vital mental health information, with the goal of halting progression before it reaches a crisis.
Step 1: Identify your symptoms
Not feeling like yourself? Worried about someone you love? Use the mental health check in to answer questions about symptoms and get connected to resources.

Step 2: Learn about mental health
Want to know more about your mental health or understand what a loved one is going through? Browse resources to learn how to discuss suicide, recognize symptoms of common mental health disorders and more.

Mental health stigma exists within every demographic space. However, among men over age 45 in Greene County, mental health stigma and lack of care seeking has led to a jarring suicide mortality rate. It’s time to talk about it.
The state of mental health in Springfield.
In 2022, the Ozarks Health Commission released the Community Health Needs Assessment, which highlighted mental health as a priority health issue through the next CHNA cycle, ending in 2026. This is the second time in a row mental health has landed at the top of the community’s health priorities. We’re working to make mental health care more accessible, reduce stigma and integrate mental wellness into your overall health. See where the Springfield Community stands with mental health:
