About Mental Health 417

Our mission is to help people become authors of their own mental health story by providing easy, comprehensive access to the resources they need so they can feel hopeful and supported about their next chapter.

If this sounds like a cause you’d like to be a part of, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Check out an event, attend a training or volunteer at one of our mental health organizations.

We envision a community where no one feels alone in their mental health story, because they know where to turn when they’re ready to turn the page.

Why Mental Health 417?

Since 2016, local hospital systems and health organizations have been coming together every three years under the umbrella of the Ozarks Health Commission to publish regional health assessments. Again and again, the assessment lists mental health as a top priority for the southwest Missouri community. Mental Health 417 was formed as an initiative of the Healthy Living Alliance to make health care more accessible, reduce stigma and integrate mental wellness into overall health.

We're in this together.

Partner work

No one is alone in their story, including local organizations that promote well-being. An initiative of the Healthy Living Alliance of the Ozarks, Mental Health 417 is proud to work with a coalition of public health, health care and community organizations in Greene County.
