The state of mental health in Springfield.
In 2022, the Ozarks Health Commission released the Community Health Needs Assessment, which highlighted mental health as a priority health issue through the next CHNA cycle, ending in 2026. This is the second time in a row mental health has landed at the top of the community’s health priorities. We’re working to make mental health care more accessible, reduce stigma and integrate mental wellness into your overall health. See where the Springfield Community stands with mental health:
Mental Health Awareness Month
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This year, mental health organizations across America are encouraging people to look around and look within to see how their environment affects their mental health. Your environment contributes to your mental health and it can include things like your housing, relationships, access to nature and many other factors.
