Crisis resources are for anyone, anywhere and at anytime. In a moment of a crisis, you might feel like you’re at a breaking point, but there are people ready to help. No one should go through life’s most difficult moments alone. If you’re struggling, contact one of the helplines below, and know there is hope.

  • 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

    The Lifeline provides 24/7, free, and confidential support for people in distress. You can access prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, as well as best practices for professionals in the United States.

  • NAMI Helpline

    NAMI HelpLine volunteers are working to answer questions, offer support, and provide practical next steps. Hours are from 9 a.m.–9 p.m. CST Monday–Friday.

  • National Maternal Mental Health Hotline

    The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline provides free, confidential, 24/7 mental health support for moms and their families before, during, and after pregnancy. English- and Spanish-speaking counselors are available.

  • Veterans Crisis Line

    The Veterans Crisis Line provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States. The Veterans Crisis Line serves Veterans, service members, National Guard, and Reserve members and those who support them.

  • Burrell Southwest MO Crisis Line

    Burrell’s Crisis Assist Team provides immediate, 24/7 response to individuals who have a mental health crisis or are having thoughts of suicide. The team helps find resources and provides support and service on an individual basis to manage the crisis.

    SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.

  • The Trevor Project Crisis Line

    The Trevor Project’s crisis counselors are trained to answer calls, chats, or texts from LGBTQ young people who reach out on our free, confidential, and secure 24/7 service when they are struggling with issues such as coming out, LGBTQ identity, depression, and suicide.
