This is what I’ve learned on my journey that I want others to know:
“Everyone has value and worth. You don’t have to be a certain way, or look a certain way to be accepted. Our difference are what make us special and interesting.“

On my hardest day, I wish I could have told myself this:
“Most things aren’t permanent, and you have made it through hard things before. No one is alone – there are more people than you think who are willing to listen and help. Don’t forget to take action, even small actions can help you work through things & move forward.“

This is how someone showed me kindness
“I received some rough news during my work shift. My team said take all the time you need to get things squared away. We’ve got your shift covered as long as you need to be off. I was so grateful for the time to deal with the situation, and that the team covered my responsibilities. They are super supportive. Thank you team for your care and support! I have been able to repay a few back in different ways when they needed help, allowing me to feel useful during their time of need!“

When I’m having a hard time, this is what I do:
“Step away from the matter. Focus on something peaceful and then return to the issue & attempt to resolve it.“
