This is what I’ve learned on my journey that I want others to know:
“Everything will work out how it is supposed to. Give it time. Be patient. Take a deep breath.“

On my hardest day, I wish I could have told myself this:
“Everything will pass. It seems like the end of the world, it seems like nothing will change, it will. Be the change. Feel the emotions. Be comfortable with them, and move past them. There are people all around to support you and there are people who want to help you. Use them. Growing up, my mom always told me, “This too shall pass.” I think about that quote and it helps me continue to grow in myself and wake up to a new clean slate every day! It is doable!“

This is how someone showed me kindness
“When I was having a rough day, my friend immediately called me and told me that everything was going to be okay, and she planned the entire night for us to hang out.“

When I’m having a hard time, this is what I do:
“I look back at the last hard moment and remember that I survived that too. I am tougher than I give myself credit for, and I need the reminder that I will be OK again. Even if it’s not right now.“
