This is what I've learned on my journey that I want others to know" Healing isn't linear - there are good days and bad days - remember a bad day is just a bad day, not a bad life.

This is what I’ve learned on my journey that I want others to know:

“Healing isn’t linear – there are good days and bad days – remember a bad day is just a bad day, not a bad life.”

On my hardest day, I wish I could've told myself this: You are stronger than you think, and your hard days will not outweigh the wonderful days. Your happiness can be found even in the midst of really difficult moments. Youhave to always looks up and hold on to hope. Hope is the thing with feathers!

This is how someone showed me kindness: Someone helped me push my power chair back to my dorm when it died and I've never met them in my life.

When I'm having a hard time, this is what I do: First, I think back to other times when I have struggled. This reminds me that I am strong and have survived other hard times. Then I think about nice things that people have said about me. My biggest issue is self-doubt. Thinking about ways other perceive me helps me to be kinder to myself. I work hard to believe others when they say positive things about me. Lastly, I think about the ways I can serve others. On my hardest days, thinking of the ways I can help others motivates me to be the best version of myself.
